Sitemap Module will generate XML sitemap of your site for submission to Google.
You can see what version of gallery2 is running, by going to "admin -> Maintenance -> System Information -> run now". There is also a versions.dat file in your g2data folder.

If you like to use ImageMagic for the thumbnail creation, you need to go into admin and configure it and specify its path (usually /usr/bin/).
g2data Cache
During migration, you may have the need to have a clean cache. You can get the installer to reset and recreate the directory of the cache structure by running the installer again. May sure you go through the right choices to not wipe out the database data as well. Sometimes the permissions in the cache is not in a way that lets you modify the album information. In that case, try cleanup script.
