Many people have installed ZenCart with the default sample data to learn how ZenCart work. Now suppose you are ready to populate the shop with your own products. It would be good to remove the sample ZenCart products and sample data first.

Here are some notes on how to remove the default sample ZenCart product data...

1. First delete all the catalog categories by going to "Catalog -> Categories/Products". This will delete all the products within the category as well.

2. Delete product options by "Catalog -> Option Name Manager". Deleting the Options will also delete the option values.

3. Delete all sales by "Catalog -> SalesMaker".

4. Delete all customers by "Customers -> Customers"

5. Delete any EZPages that you do not need by "Tools -> EZPages"

6. Delete all banners by "Tools -> Banner Manager". When you perform the delete, you can checkmark the box to delete the banner image as well.
