Crockford on Javascript: Videos of his Talk

Douglas Crockford is Javascript Architect for Yahoo. He gave a series of lecture talks held at the Yahoo main campus in Sunnyvale California. His lectures are available online with transcripts as well. Apparently his lecture has some humor in it as you can hear some laughter from the audience as well as "laughter" noted into the transcripts.

His first lecture of this series was held January 25, 2010 and titled "Volume One: The Early Years" where he give some history of Javascript....

This second lecture on February 5, 2010 was titled "Chapter 2: And Then There Was JavaScript" ...

The third lecture is called "Act III: Function the Ultimate" on February 17, 2010 ...

Forth lecture "Episode IV: The Metamorphosis of Ajax" (March 3, 2010) can be seen linked here.

Fifth lecture will be on March 31, 2010 titled "Part 5: The End of All Things".

It is interesting to note that he titled each of his five lecture with a different numbering prefix. First lecture is a volume. Second lecture is a chapter. Third lecture is an act. Forth lecture is an episode. And fifth lecture is a part. So he does have a sense of humor.
