PayPal is a full service payment processor used on many eCommerce website.  Using it can be as simple as putting a "Donate" button on your site to as complex as developing PayPal applications using it API and testing sandbox.   In between is the PayPal shopping cart which provides a decent shopping cart to your site.

This book starts from the beginning by covering how to opening a Paypal account and make purchases. It has a chapter on protecting yourself online.

Since PayPal and eBay are under one company, this book also shows you how to list item on eBay which heavily uses PayPal. It covers sending invoice and shipping.

For coders, the book covers creating PayPal buttons, setting up recurring payments, shopping cart, as well as working with PayPal sandbox and API.
