For the purpose of this tutorial, let's say that we want to add a Google Map of the United States White House ("1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW / Washington, DC 20006") to a page in the demo Joomla site.
We want to add the map in between the 2nd and third paragraph like so ...
1. Download Jumi and install the zip file by "Joomla Administrator -> Extensions -> Install"
You should see a success message...
As you can see, there are also links to Jumi guides and demo.
2. Get the Google Map code from maps.google.com to the address ("1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW / Washington, DC 20006") by clicking the Link link...
Copy the iframe code that is intended to embed in website.
3. Now go to Joomla Administrator menu, "Components -> Jumi" and click the New button.
4. Paste in the Google Map code as shown ...
5. Note the newly created Jumi database record ID. In our example, it is "3".
6. Now in the content editor of the article "Welcome to Joomla", we put in the Jumi code shown...
7. Save article, refresh browser and see that map gets inserted ...
