Step 9: Re-visit the and Finalize the TextAnother solution to making the word "Online.com" more visible is to apply a dark background shape just behind that text. The relative position of the text and background will become important. Now is the time to think if this is the correct position of the text. Is there anything we should change in the text? If so, better to change it now before applying the dark background. Because changing it later will require a change to the location of the background. Come to think of it. Besides make the text "WebDesign" different in color, we should differentiate it with a slightly different font. Let's set it to Arial Black with the rest of the text set remain as Arial. And the ".com" does not need to be as prominent, so set its font size to 18px instead of 36px.
Step 10: Drop Shadow on TextAnd apply a drop shadow to give the text more depth instead of looking flat.
But don't over-do it. All you need is a very subtle shadow. Over-doing it is worst than not doing it at all.
Notice that this make the text stand out better too. Even the word Online.com is visible now.
Step 11: Write the TaglineBefore applying the darker background behind the text, let's put on our tagline "Build a Website From Start to Finish". We might end up making a background shape that encompasses all the text.
I had tried making the text with the color of #E1E9EF (same color as the lighter blue text color); however, because the text is small this color did not provide enough contrast to be clear enough. So I made the text 12px with color pure white. You see that the word "Finish" is becoming hard to read. Hence we will need a create a darker background shape under both the tagline and the word "Online.com". NextWe will create the background shape in the next lesson.
