Signing Up with Blogger

In this lesson you will learn publish your first blog. But first you have to sign up for a blogger account if you do not already have one. To sign up...

1. Go to http://blogger.com and click "Create Your Blog Now"

2. Pick a username and display name. They can be the same. Then pick a password for your account. Email is the only personal information that blogger.com needs. And this email is not displayed to your viewers. So as a blogger, you can be fairly anonymous.

3. Give your blog a name and specify the URL address that you want people to go to view your blog.

I gave my blog the name "artcoder" and people visit it by going to http://artcoder.blogspot.com

4. Choose a website template for your blog pages. Then click Continue.

5. That's it you have a blog. Click Start Posting to make your first blog entry. We will continue with these steps in the next lesson.
