Blogger Overview

A blog is a "web log" where an individual writes about whatever topic he or she wishes and it is published to the web for the world to see. Usually, the blogger will write about his or her area of expertise or interest.

In these course, you will learn how create your own blog using Blogger. See the benefits of using Blogger. You don't need any software other than your browser. And it's free. We will show you step-by-step from signup to configuring your blogs.

Why would someone want to do that you ask? Well, they may just have desire to make public their thoughts, opinions, and expertise. They might have something worth sharing with the world. Or they might act in the same motivation as any publisher. And like most publisher, revenue is generated by advertisment. That is why many blogs contain ads. As viewer reads the blogs, they might happen to click on those ads. And if they do, it generates revenue for the publisher -- in this case, it is the blogger. One of the more popular ad campains is the use of Google ads. And since Google now owns Blogger, it is integrated into the blogging system so that it takes almost no effort to have Google ads on blogs hosted by Blogger.
