Adding Categories and Forums:

Categories are higher level classification than forums. For example, two categories can be "Design" and "Coding". Under "Design", you can have several forums such as "Logo Design", "Web Site Layout", "Photoshop". Under "Coding", you can have different sets of forums such as "HTML", "Javascript", etc. This is done in the Admin Panel under Forum Admin -> Management.

In the main Forum Admin screen, you can move forums up and down to alter their display order. You can delete and edit forums. And there is a resync command which you can click when the information gets out of sync in the database.

Forum Permissions

Forum permissions are set by going to Forum Admin -> Permissions.
