Disabling the Forum :

There may be times when you want to disable the forum for various reasons such as when performing a backup, during development, or upgrading to a new version.

To disable the forum, log into the Admin Panel. Under the General Configuration, change the Disable board setting to Yes. And save.

As admin, you can log back into the Admin Panel and enable the board through the same setting.
