In the previous lessons, you have setup what is known as the "default install" of phpBB. You may want to have a different look-and-feel. You can either ...

a) Obtain a template for your forum. This is often known as a skin consisting of tpl files.

b) Or you can customize its code and template. This is known as skinning or modding the forum.
