Admin Panel

There will be times when the site admin needs to perform setting changes to the forum. If the admin is already logged in as a regular forum user, he/she must logout first. Then the admin will login to the Admin Panel via the url http://www.yourdomain.com/forums/admin

Please note that after the first correct entry with the admin password. You will be prompted a second time for the admin password. You have to get both times correct in order to log in.

The adminstration panel looks like the following. The Admin Panel has the left menu bar. The Main Forums does not.

You should set the configuration options now. Typically you would want to make the following settings indicated in red and otherwise leave the default settings. You will see what is meant by Enable User Account Activation and Enable Visual Confirmation in the lesson here.
