Replacing the Logo

For the header of the forum, we want to replace the logo_phpBB.gif with our own graphic logo_rawkstarstatus.gif.

1. Put the logo_rawkstarstatus.gif file in templates/siteScheme/images folder.

2. Replace the word logo_phpBB.gif with logo_rawkstarstatus.gif in the file overall_header.tpl.

3. Add an inline style to color the header background color.

4. Remove the RawkStarStatus.com title by deleting the highlighted span in overall_header.tpl

5. Style the color of the header links with the following rules in siteScheme.css...

6. And now we have ...

7. If added the black and white border to the header by wrapping a div around the header table...

8. With the addition of a few more styling, we got the following.

Changing the Footer

Changing the footer is similar to changing the header. The files are overall_footer.tpl and simple_footer.tpl.
