Google AdSense Policies

It makes sense to read the AdSense Term of Service (or TOS for short) and understands it policies. I'll briefly summary some of them here.

1. You can not change the Google code that they provide you. Any customizations of the ads must be done through the AdSense interface.

2. You can not put ads on non-content pages. So don't just put a page up that only contains ads. Instead have good content on you page and then add ads to it.

3. You yourself can not click on your own ads. Not even just to test them. Sorry.

4. An automated script can not click on your ads. Otherwise they are known as invalid clicks.

5. You can have a maximum of three ad units per page.

6. You can not urge visitors to click on the ads.

Violating any of these can get you banned from the AdSense program. The policies are not limited to the ones mentioned above. So please read the AdSense policy here as well as the Webmaster's Guidelines.
