Yahoo Store Security Key

If you have just signed up, you may be prompted to create an Security Key. You must do so in order to continue. This security key should not be the same as your Yahoo ID password and it should not be obvious. This key is supposed to be less exposed than your Yahoo ID.

To create this key, please ...

1) Go to http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com

2) Click the Orange Account Sign In button and sign in with your yahoo id.

3) Click the link "Store Control Panel". It will prompt your for the creation of your Security Key. It will ask you a few verification questions which may be needed if you ever forget your key.

Every once in a while, Yahoo Control Panel may popup a page that say "Verify your Security Key". When this happens, enter the Security Key. This is for security reasons.

Changing Your Yahoo Store Security Key

If you need to change teh security key (such as after the contractor has completed his/her job), then...

1) Go to http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com and log on.

2) Click the link "My Account ". Now you will see a link to "Change Your Security Key ".
