Installing PayPal IPN Module

We will be using PayPal to process our payments. So you will need to get a PayPal Premier Account. IPN stands for Instant Payment Notification. The Wiki has detailed instruction on setting up Paypal.

1. Go to the PayPal IPN module and note the IPN notification url and following the instructions for configuring PayPal.

If you are using PayPal IPN, you need to turn the other methods (especially the credit card module) off.

2. Login to your PayPal account and for turn on IPN with the URL noted.

3. Follow the Wiki instructions here.

4. If problem, the way to collect debug log is explained here. Or use IPN Check Tool.

PayPal Express Notes

1. PayPal Express and PayPal IPN are independent of each other. One can be setup without the other.

2. GoDaddy and PayPal express requires special treatment.
