As a customer makes a purchase from your ZenCart store, the customer will go through a checkout process where an account is created for your customer. This enables the customer to log in with his/her supplied email address and password. Customer need not remember his/her password because, there is always an "Forgot your password" link in which he/she can have a new password sent to him/her. Merchants can not access customers passwords. The account login also provides customer access to view their order online.
